The Sovereign Of Solar System

                  Read on to know about the protector of our Solar System, the Sun. Its not an amature thought that made me create a blog like this. Its a worship, its a hysteria, its a devotion to a deity leading to salvation and nirvana.                                           
             
                 Heliolatry defines the Sun worship. Different religions perceived their solarised supreme deity in different ways; some of them are like, The Munsh tribe considers the Sun to be the son of the supreme being Awondo, In Aztec mythology Tonatiuh was the Sun, In the Sanskrit Vedas hymns are dedicated to Surya dev, and in Greek mythology Helios was the Sun god,

                 Let the ancient myths rest in mud, here is a contradictory thought. As the sun being the protector of earth where we brought up so far, why do everyone go behind the immobile man made statues. I think evryone's wisdom is sufficient to make out these rhetorical question. There are countless sunworshippers all over the globe. The Konark temple in India is the best example also known as Black Pagoda, its in the UNESCO World Heritage list.

                         The Sun is a massive shining sphere of hot gas. It is by far the largest object in the solar system, and contains more than 99.8% of the total mass of the Solar System. Since its creation, the sun has used up about half of the hydrogen in its core. Over the next 5 billion years or so, it will grow steadily brighter as more helium accumulates in its core. As the supply of hydrogen dwindles, the Sun's core must keep producing enough pressure to keep the Sun from collapsing in on itself. The only way it can do this is to increase its temperature. Eventually the sun will run out of hydrogen fuel. At that point, it will go through a radical change which will most likely result in the complete destruction of the planet Earth.

Why should we Worship Sun-God and What Mantra has to be recited to Sun-God

The sun is the presiding deity of the intellect, In the morning offering water to the Sun-God by lifting both the arms up and reciting the below Suryaâ Gayatri Mantra, Sun-bathing for 8-10 minutes and by practicing SuryaNamaskara increases the brain power , Memory power , concentration and intellectual power. It also improves eyesight and increases lustre and vigor.

                             The Vedic scriptures of the Hindu religion refer to the sun as the store house of inexhaustible power and radiance. Ths sun god is referred to as Surya or Aditya. The Vedas are full of hymns describing the celestial body as the source and sustainer of all life on earth. The origin of the worship of the Sun in India is thus several centuries old.

References to sun worship are found in the puranas.

                             The Ramayana speaks of Sage Agastya initiating Rama into sun worship through the Aditya Hridaya Mantra. The astronomer and astrologer Varahamirhira makes references to the intricacies of ceremonies connected with the installation of the icon of the Sun. It is also said that Iran was once a center of Solar worship and that some of the Magha priests of Iran had been brought to India to officiate in ceremonies.

Surya Deva  From Vedas                                                                                         

               The human body has several microholes equivalent to the rays of Sun. Through these holes the Sun rays penetrate and all the impurities are removed and purify them. The Lord Surya will blesses the right type of discreet life with strength and capacity.

               The paramatma who in the form of Atma in us is as effulgent as in the Sky as Surya Bhagavan. One has to meditate as Surya who makes us to realise Atma. Surya is Universe. He is Atma Swaroopa. Surya had originated long before creation. He created the two worlds as self effulgent. He is the Lord of the astral plane. He is supreme to all worlds. He is the repository of intelligence. Every thing in this world is being created by Sun God. The entire Creation of life is his. He has created food and water. He is a truthful ruler. He is the leader of all worlds. 

               He is self illuminating, Electricity, Vedas, truth, and yajnas. The three worlds have originated by Bhagavan Surya. He is the cause of water. He is Amruta Svarupa. He bestows excellent power of action. He is time incarnate. He protects us from punnama Naraka (the hell of not being blessed with sons). He is the supreme diety of Devas. He is Indra, Varuna and the inner self as Antaratman.

His brilliant banners draw upward the god who knows all creatures, so that everyone may see the Sun.
The constellations, along with the nights, steal away like thieves, making way for the Sun who gazes on everyone.
The rays that are his banners have become visible from the distance, shining over mankind like blazing fires.
Crossing space, you are the maker of light, seen by everyone, O Sun.

You rise up facing all the groups of gods, facing mankind, facing everyone, so that they can see the sunlight.

As you rise today, O Sun, you who are honored as a friend, climbing to the highest sky, make me free of heartache and yellow pallor.
Let us place my yellow pallor among parrots and thrushes, or let us place my yellow pallor among other yellow birds in yellow trees.
This Aditya has risen with all his dominating force, hurling my hateful enemy down into my hands.
Let me not fall into my enemy's hands!

The End Of Life

                       All things must end. That's true for us, that's true for the Earth, and that's true for the Sun. It's not going to happen tomorrow, but one day in the far future, the Sun will run out of fuel and end its life as a main sequence Star and die. Let's take a look at the Sun's death.

                      The Sun was born from the solar nebula 4.6 billion years ago. After a few hundred million years after its birth, the Sun settle down to become a main sequence star. It was happily burning hydrogen at its core, where the intense temperature and pressures allowed the Sun to convert hydrogen into helium. But the Sun actually only has so much of this hydrogen fuel available to it. The Sun's death will come when it runs out of fuel.

                       The Sun is converting about 5 million tons of hydrogen into helium every second. This sounds like a lot, but it only has enough fuel for another 5 billion years. When the Sun does run out of fuel, it will swell up to become a red giant star, expanding in size beyond the orbits of Mercury and Venus. Astronomers even think it will swallow up the Earth as well. Even if the Earth survives, the intense heat from the red sun will scorch our planet and make it completely impossible for life to survive.

                       Once it has become a red giant, the Sun's death is just around the corner. It will still have enough heat and pressure at its core to begin a second stage of fusion, burning helium this time to form carbon. But when the helium runs out, the Sun won't have enough gravity to keep the core temperature and pressure up to burn carbon. At this point, the Sun will slough off its outer layers into space in a series of bursts.

                       The dying core of the sun, an Earth-sized diamond of carbon and oxygen called a white dwarf, will be all that remains. It will slowly cool off over billions of years, eventually reaching the background temperature of the Universe. It will then be a black dwarf.

The Sun's death will be complete.
